Nice to meet you, I am Dr. Toshiyuki Kudo, the clinic director.

I understand that it can be a heavy decision to visit for the first time. Many people have to know a firm resolution before coming for their first consultation. But you don not have to do it. When it comes to the initial examination, I make it a point to listen directly to everything you have to say. There is no need to organize your thoughts in advance, and it is not necessary to know what is wrong or even have a clear understanding of the diagnosis. After all, you come to the clinic to identify the affected areas and find a treatment plan.

However, in order to listen attentively, it may take a little time. Our clinic does not operate on an appointment system, so it can be difficult to allocate enough time right after the clinic opens in the morning or during the first appointment in the afternoon. If you could come a little later in the morning, preferably after 10 o'clock, or in the afternoon, around 2:30, we will be able to conduct the examination with ample time. Thank you, and I look forward to meeting you.

For your first visit, it would be helpful if you could bring the following items:

  1. My Number card or health insurance card
  2. Any documentation or a medication notebook that lists the medications you are currently taking (a medication notebook is acceptable)
  3. Any relevant medical test results

Having these items with you will assist us in providing comprehensive care. We look forward to welcoming you at the clinic.
